It was 30 years ago today...This week we take the Latin Alternative time machine back to 1987, a year when 'Rock en Español" bands like Soda Stereo and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs burst out of Argentina conquered the Americas. Los Lobos went mainstream with their cover of "La Bamba" and tropical artists like Tito Puento and Joe Arroyo continued to make vital music.
